Buddy’s has been keeping Maryland families “in the swim” for more than 45 years! As a full-service provider for pool and hot tub owners, we understand the importance of aquatic family fun and recreation.
Buddy & Loretta Poe founded Buddy’s Pool Service in August 1979 in the town of Towson, Maryland. Howard L. Poe, Sr. better known as “Buddy” was a pool industry veteran with nearly two decades of prior experience as a service manager for one of Maryland’s largest in-ground pool builders. During that time Buddy built a reputation for dependable service and strong customer relationships from the start. Buddy’s entrepreneurial venture began as a service-focused company dedicated to supporting pool owners in the Baltimore area.
Over the years, the company has expanded significantly, evolving into a comprehensive pool and spa service provider and retailer for both residential and commercial customers. Today, Buddy’s renovates, repairs, and services existing pools, and offers a broad range of products and parts for all aspects of pool and spa ownership.
